Filthy Gold Coast Restaurant Cops Record Fine
A Gold Coast restaurant has been hit with a record fine of almost $30,000 after health inspectors found it was overrun with cockroaches. Gold Coast City Council had lodged a complaint in Southport Magistrates Court against The Hub Restaurant at Varsity Lakes after a health officer visited the eatery in mid-September, the Gold Coast Bulletin reports.
